so i'm sitting in my us law class this morning, about 75 people in the class, all of which are in their early 20's except for one middle aged female (40 roughly).

as we get into a discussion about the divine prophecy of law she says "I don't understand why people are mad about the commandments being up in court rooms and god being on our money." a light discussion on how other people have different beliefs brings her to say

"my heart goes out to all that have no faith" ... hilarity ensues :D

did i forget to mention this is a very liberal college? needless to say it was 45min of the greatest flame fest i have ever seen :)

so far.. my week is off to a great start :D

I love it when 3 people start speaking at the same time, and the one with the loudest voice gets to finish his/her sentence.

Couldn't have been better than the first day of my Euro Civ II Survey course when my professor called Jesus a bastard, and I got hit in the head with a text book for trying to leave. It's funny to see that its not just people on ATOT who are crazy.

So she's not allowed to feel badly that you are missing something which she values highly? You are certainly free to disagree with her about it but you didn't have to be jackasses about that disagreement. There's a difference between having different beliefs and being a fvcking jerk about it.

That's true, although I take issue with people shoving beliefs down others' throats. However, I do agree with her insofar as if you're a person of faith, having pity on those who don't have it is surely a natural feeling.

not so much as praising, as i found the entire situation highly amusing :)

the person that was holding convo. with her the most some how twisted it into him taking offence for her saying that, which then started the rest of the class in on her.
