My headphone cord got cut in half

Butt splice or solder and heat shrink tube.

remember to sand/burn the stripped cables since they are insulated with a layer of insulating polymer.

some headphone forums..i remember there were dudes who would recable their headphones. probably solder. and at the cups, but i don't see why you couldn't try with the break area, bit fiddly though. use some nice heatshrink and tape and get it nice and secure.probably good to put some epoxy putty around it before heat shrhink to add more strength as wel.
