This guy is wicked .. Read it
"""""Man,,, I'm beat, I worked on that old corn binder motor all day. I got everything mocked-up and it looks good. The CNC Head thing works OK,,,, But for some reason the IH Castings arn't very consistant. They every alot from port to port, and bad Core Shift. witch makes it very hard to CNC these heads without cutting thru the side of the runners (there's some welding). I tell you what,,, There's NO IH 392 heads on the planet that will out flow the ones I just got done. Heck,,, I had to weld steel plates on the sides of the exhaust ports because I made them so Wide,,, I milled thru to the outside of the casting. (Bummer) It worked out for the better. I should be testing the heads sometime this sunday. I'll get you the numbers.
You don't have to lighten the bottom end to get 6,400... Just a good balance job will work fine. I'm going to turn my new motor 7,000..
Bigger Valves ??? well''' The 392 Intakes are as good as it gets, because the IH Intake manifold is the bottle neck.. these valves are allready 2.080,,, That perfect,,, But the exhaust is a different story. I would use Manley's Part number 11519-8 for the 345 or 392, because there a 3\8 valve stem size, the valve head itself is .020 bigger, witch is great for the seats that are allready in the 392 heads, and there the same length.
""""""""
He milled so far in he was cutting thru the runners. Welp I will soon be able to say I have the fastest spinnin, highest powered corn binder IHC engine around.
