My head hurts from banging it with the keyboard...

:disgust: when i start up i get a beep, (i know, bad) then it jumps past mb sys and goes to the 00000part. is it the cpu? i've put on in before, someone suggested the power may be messing up. Very limited funds, anyone got any ideals?

is it one beep, or two (or 3) the beep codes can tell you what is going wrong. Try taking everything out of the system except cpu video and RAM, do you still get the beeps? (make sure the keyboard is plugged in.) At this point I would think either the cpu or RAM.

/edit does it count the RAM and POST?

i don't think it posts anything, it runs to the 00 so fast you get a blink of logo and i have to use pause to try to get into cmos and it won't let me in, it just goes right back to the beginning.
