I don't know why it does this, I just added a 350GB Maxtor MaxLine III (16mb cache w/ ncq) and its on my nForce SATA2 port #1 on my mobo (GA-K8NXP-SLI).
The drive sometimes disappears when i do a warm reboot. If I completely shutdown, then boot, the drive shows up fine.
Any ideas?
This is not the windows booting drive, i use my raptor for that, this is strictly storeage. I also have another 200gig drive that is backup and doesn't have this problem. However that drive is connected via IDE cable.
