My hats off to this DC community.

I just passed my one year anniversary doing DC projects as a member of the Anandtech TeAm. Snuck past is more like it, I almost forgot it. 😱 I started last Jan 4th doing Seti Classic, then migrated to SetiBoinc and Folding at Home. I?m still a relative newcomer, but the fact that I am still here at all is a testimony to the civility and openness of this community. (I have yet to witness a flaming between members)

So, a doff of the hat to the hundreds of folks doing DC here for the Anandtech TeAm, and the members of this forum. 😀 I hope we all have another great year and may all your WU?s will be big ones???????.. 😛

well said! this forum and this TeAm is the best group ive ever been around in a forum community. no flaming, helpful, smart and courteous individuals all pulling together to have fun while using idle cpu's for a greater cause. here's to a great 2005 for the TeAm :beer::beer:

Well, you can't really say we don't have flameing here 😱 .....But, it's always done knowing it's all in fun. 🙂

Concern, integrity and respect , are the backbone of this Team. So, It's obvious you belong within this community. 😎 As far as taking your hat off to the community, I can't do that................................the reflection off my bald spot will blind everyone. 😱 😀 😱

I am though, Honored to have you as a team mate, even if you do have hair. 😀

Does this mean my posts are really more like sputters than flames? I hope so. I do respect this community and thank those who may have seen fit to forgive my.... er.... entheusiasm. 😱

I have to agree there are some really fine, upstanding people in the DC Forum. When someone has gotten out of line the other members have gently nudged him/her back in place. (Like a father does with a child). I see a great mutual respect between the members. Awesome place to be.
