<CLIFFS>
I'm immature. I lost my lover/best friend. Since I can't get her back, I decided to blow her away even further. I'm immature.
</CLIFFS>

We were friends before then dated then tried to be friends again even thought I didn't want to. That's the risk you take when you leave the 'friend' zone, because it'll never be the same again. Mine went quite sour. This was my final letter to her. Man I'm selfish.

Dear past,

I'm not mature and strong like you. I'm not trusting like you. I'm not rational like you. I'm not patient like you. I'm not youthful like you. I'll never be like you.

I realize I'm not good for you. I realize I'm not good enough for you. I realize you can do better. I realize all this and realized how lucky I was to have you in my life. I was happy.

But when I lost you, I wanted to hate you. I wanted to hate you for making me feel sad. I wanted to hate you for making me feel unwanted. I wanted to hate you for making me feel like a boring movie that you don't finish. And most importantly, I wanted to hate you for disturbing my dream.

I now want to look for any excuse to get angry at you. I now want to make you angry. I now want to make you cry. I now want to make you regret being with me. I now want to make you feel the way I feel.

I loved you and still do. I missed you and still do. I didn't hate you but now I most certainly do.

You will always be right even without the left. You will always be but a memory left behind.

Keep the piece you took from my heart. I don't want it back. It has rotted.

Yours truly,
Future

One you get over the heartache of her leaving, you'll want to call her up and thank her every day.

what are you, 8?

Just immature and selfish.
doesn't sound like it from the evidence in the OP. I drew needy and pathetic.

Granted it was pretty emo and melodramatic, the writing itself contained a certain level of poetry. GOod luck to you either way

After living through a number of breakups I have come up a rule:

After a breakup, I promise I will never see, contact, and communicate with my ex for the rest of my life.

Meh, they usually broke up with me because I was screwing someone else on the side so i really had no problems just walkingaway.

I go by the rule if I am the breakuper or the breakupee. In the long run, it makes it easier.
