My harddrive has fallen into the Bermuda Triangle!!!

My hard drive for some reason will not respond to updated write commands. I have a 60GB which has been filled to capacity but no matter how many files I delete it shows 0 byte ! _WTF_ !!!!

It either started after I installed Symmantec's virus scanner or DirectConnect. I've installed both before in the past and never anytihng so strange like this has happened.

Any ideas ?

if the drive is that FULL it may take a really long time to respond to any commands lol

try going into safe mode and deleting them you might have better luck

Run chkdsk /f on it. or if you're in 98, Scandisk.
It's possible that you filled it to *over* capacity. And when you delete it still hasn't gone down to 60GB.
