make long story short
3 partition on my IBM 75GXP 45G (< 0.5 year old)
1 primary dos partition
1 extended dos partition
1 logical partion
a while ago, lost the extended dos partition for NO REASON...
yesterday, lost my primary dos partition holding windows OS, and lost most of my stuff for NO REASON...
suddenly windows give me all STRANGE character on ALL folder...
shut down the pc and and use fdisk to check and FAT table is gone.....
any idea.. ?
all I can thought of..
1. PC too hot, 6x degree celcius cpu (1G AMD T-bird)
2. bad harddisk ? (BIOS recognize it though)
3. bad IDE controller / cable ?
4. or Do i have too many partition
5. needed AMD miniport / VIA 4 in 1 ?
now I fdisk the sucker and only have 1 45G partition...
....
