the recent ATOT hreads suck. they're music threads, and getting locked. here's something different.
I know, this should go into the cpu/processors forum, but it's really off topic because i'm actually expressing my joy.
instead of a usual rant you see everyday,
this thread is a cookie collecting thread.
I have a barton xp2600m.
i've hit 2.492, and it's STABLE!! (well, my defnition of stable is kinda dumb. I play cs:source and lineage2 all day long w/ a lot of crap running in the background like adaware and spybot and virusscan all running at the same time muahaha. I know, cpuburn program is a lot better software to run it but ah well, this way seems funner hehe).
i've had decent temps (41c idle, 54c heavy load, as I did my stress test above).
i've been running @ 2.38 for the longest time. I've once hit 2.45, but it was kind of unstable, so i lowered it back down to 2.38. I guess that "burning in the cpu" actually works.
i'm going to try to reach over 2.5 next week, but i doubt it'll go that high hehe.
so what's making you happy at this moment?
