This was never much of an issue, but I got a camera and it shows bad in the pictures.

My hands shake alot while holding it, and no matter how hard I try not to they always do.

Is there anything I can do to make it better...any sort of exercises or anything? Its pretty annoying.

Thanks

I have the same problem.

Oddly enough I found that recreational shooting helps a lot. It trains me to hold steady during aiming, and after a while the shakiness is reduced. I still have it to some degree, but I think it will continue to improve.

THe only downside is, my aim isn't so hot. I can hit within 12 inches of my bullseye at 50 feet consistently, but if I ever get my hands steadier, I expect this will improve too.

After a heavy bender I carry around my flask and take a pull every now and then. Shakes gone instantly!

You have alzheimers. Suicide is the recommended solution.
Edit: I mean parkinsons

Thanks to the people who actually posted a useful reply.

I just looked into the side effects of one of the medicines I'm on, and "tremor" is one of them. I'm assuming thats what it is.

I guess I'll have to talk to the doctor about getting on smoething else. It doesn't seem temporary, as its been like this for quite a while.

You probably have essential/familial tremor. One of your parents and/or siblings probably has it, too.

Inderal/propranolol is a common treatment. Alcohol probably makes it better, too.

It's probably essential tremor.

Parkinsons is unlikely, unless his hands shake while they are resting on a surface. If they only shake when they're not at rest, such as holding them out in front of yourself, it's usually essential tremor.

Get some propranolol. Its lifesaver for presentations and public speaking.
