My Hand is Asleep...

Okay, strange question here... I really doubt that this caused it, but Sunday night, some friends and I played Battlefield 1942 for about 4 hours on the LAN here at school. After we finished playing, I noticed that my hand was feeling odd. It feels like it feels like if you wake up and you were laying on it for a few hours. Only thing is, it feels like this over three days later. I've played games that long before, so I don't think it came from that, but that's when I noticed it. It doesn't really hurt or anything, it's just sort of annoying. Anyone out there have any ideas what it might be and what I could do to "wake it back up?" Thanks.

Seriously, it sounds like you might be getting CTS.

Sex life jokes aside... what is CTS? Carpal Tunnel?

" I call this, 'The Stranger', I sit on my hand until it goes numb. . ." :)

Seriously tho', check the angle of your wrist while you are playing the game (Is it your mouse or keyboard hand?). The top of your hand should be even with your wrist. AFAIK. IMHO. YMMV.:p

My wrist is lower than my hand. It's the keyboard hand, BTW.

I just got off the phone with the student health center. I'm going to have them check it out tomorrow afternoon to find out what's going on. /me crosses fingers of right hand since left hand doesn't want to move very much

What do they call that when you wake up in the middle of the night with morning wood and your hand is asleep from being wrapped around your neck (or whatever) and you...um.. you know

EDIT: nevermind, jamautosound answered my question, it's called "the stranger"
