My hand gets really cold when using my mouse...

Anyways, I just was in the bathroom running it under warm water because it was really bothering me. Does this happen for anyone else? I would say my hand is about at the same level as my sternum. Perhaps I just have poor ciculation?

Holey crap even with your sternum? raise your seat a little.

Yes, a modified desk drawer serves as my mousepad spot. It's not really the optimal hight I would want. I shall try adjusting my seat for the next half hour or so, and will update you of any changes 🙂

best check your chair height and reposition that mouse, carpal tunnel starts that way.

That wouldn't have anything to do with the tingling sensation, would it?😉

every now and then flex/pump your hand to stretch the muscles and get some circulation going. i used to have major problems but once i started doing that a few times a day life got much better and i can use my hand again for umm... other things.

It gets cold sometimes. I hate it when its cold and I'm trying ot play CS... cant click properly... :|

i hate it when i've been playing a FPS for a while and my palm gets sweaty... i must look funny blowing on my open palm and the mouse.

My hands are always cold because they sweat a lot. So do my feet. It is really quite annoying.

Yeah my feet sweat a lot. Hands don't though. Raising the chair is helping a little.

Yea I actually have had this problem. Not so much anymore, but I did a lot when I was younger. I think it's because I use to be glued to my computer for hours uninterrupted but now I tend to get up at least every half hour for a quick sip of water or just to feel my heart beating again.

Mine does, but that's just cause the temperature in my house is relatively low at the time (60-68 degrees)

I think if your hand is above your heart's position this causes a problem because the blood has to circulate up. Just like if you keep your hand raised for too long the circulation will cut off a little.

There isn't really a solution to the problem if the room temperature is that cold. Unless you get your blood pumping, which doesn't usually occur too much when you're sitting at your computer. 😛

Get a blanket or something, that might help.

Or... as the wise Arnold would say (End of Days) : Stop being such a pussy! 😛

Ha! Yeah. Actually I should start wearing something other than a t-shirt. Like something warmer. I just put on a sweatshirt and it's so damn warm! Chalk this thread up to my stupidity and lack of common sense 🙂

Happens to me all the time, not just when I'm on the computer. My right hand is almost always colder than my left.

My hand gets cold all the time. I've always wondered why. Maybe it's because my house is...hmm...a little under 60 degrees...ALL the time? Maybe...
