Ive had my 7900gs for about a year, but in the last month or two the card has started artifacting BF2 and COD2 often also freeze randomly and i have to reboot my PC or the screen stays frozen
Things ive tried
cleaned my PC so that it is free of dust
Changed drivers
Wiped Windows XP
Swapped my RAM
But im not totally certain it is my GPU, As i cant test how hot the memory is on my graphics card only my Core tempretures which max out at about 67 Degrees C, this shouldnt be a problem as 115C is the shutoff point
Also am i right that my power supply can cause artifacting?
My PSU is a 470w thermaltake with dual rails one 14amps and one 15amps, it seems enough for my mid range system right?
Im thinking of Buying a Zalaman VF-900CU to cool my GPU down but i need to be certain that its my GPU thats at fault and not some other part of my system
Well what do you think?, Any ideas or Suggestions?
