I want to have firefox. I hear great things about it.

but I am really attached to my Google Toolbar, and don't want to not have it.

🙂

edit: But YES! Google popup blocker has been letting way too much stuff get thru recently!

Maxthon + SP2 + Flashout = adfree heaven.

Until the sites start failing from lack of revenue again, then it'll suck, but, oh well.

Hey... thanks, Gurck!
I am gonna give it a go now!

I too have been disapointed in googles pop up blocker. I have sp2, but still they were getting through. I shut off google's and now no more popups. 😀 I guess sp2 won't take over if another one is in use?

I turned off my Google bar's popup block in IE now. It was doing pretty bad, and did nothing about the worse popups (FLASH ones). I got this program called Ad Muncher that works wonders. Even knocks out most banners. Hasn't hampered browsing by blocking good new windows either. It has some other cool features like referrer spoofing and IP scrambling.

EDIT: I don't have XP so I guess I don't get SP2's nice built in blocker. 2000 pro here.
