My first delve into forums and Half-Life mapping, nearly five years ago. Hard to believe!

And check my second post in that thread, specs at the time:

"Yeah, I guess I should've mentioned that before. I have a Voodoo3, 64 MB memory, and an Athlon 550 MHz. Also, I was planning on upgrading in a little while to an ATI 32 meg., but I heard that wasn't very good for OpenGL."

That was an awesome system indeed!

Any of you guys have old memories like this? Old systems/forums/mapping days?
 
i had 128MB of mem in that machine, which was amazing at the time...especially when everybody else was running on 32MB lol

Search up top, then type your username for the author, search only for posts by me, then refine your search by searching only for dates soon after your join date.

Gotcha!! That said,

This had to be my 1st thread... Pretty funny actually, oh and definative proof that ATOT has NOT changed, no matter what they say!😛

(At least the 1st one since the famed server change-over)

This COULD be it, but it's still 3 months after you joined. Looks like you were still a junior member then, too, so its more plausible.
