You KNOW I've never drunk perfume But you know how cheese can taste like smoke? Well this Polar diet ginger ale tastes like perfume...it's really gross. But it's one of those fascinating grosses where you keep coming back to it; you know, like "EW! This sock smells GROSS! ... ... Here, smell it."

I think its the chemicals that are used either for sweetner or preservatives.

Diet drinks can taste that way.
