my gigabyte p965ds3 rv3.3 wont boot, anyone help

AM i doing something wrong?



there are two sticks of supertalent ram in it, one core2duo 4300 and im connnecting the front panel power switch dongle, and the atx 24pin mobo connector, and then the 4pin mobo 12v power connector. but it wont power up, brand new earthwatts powersupply 500.
i had to cram my radeon 9800 pro 128mb into the pci-e x16 slot. i think its not fitting right. (jk)

same setup works fine on my asrock dual vsta with the exact components.

is my gigabyte ds3 DOA?

radeon 1950xt but i solved the problem, i posted over in computer help and someone helped me out with a bunch of obvious suggestions. turns out i never repositiioned the old screws from my previous mobo in the case, and my new motherboard was grounding out on the case. thanks for the help.
