My gigabyte 7n400 Pro2 won't let me change cpu voltage??

once i'm in the bios, i can go to voltage and it will let me increase my cpu corev with only three options, however, i need to decrease the core voltage not increase it. everyone says they set their core voltage to like 1.60 or 1.75 or even lower, but i'm really confused as to how i can lower my voltage if the options aren't available? sorry i know it's a n00b question, but it would really help out since my cpu is currently at 57C (axp 2000+ palomino) thanks for the posts.
