My gift to you: new hair

During these trying times the 12 new follicles on my once barren scalp has honestly warmed the heart a bit. Noticed new sprouts two or so weeks in, 5 weeks later and it's a sad leave less forest, but better than the barren desert it was. BIOTIN. I think pill form is better but I find in shampoo form (many brands, don't want to come off as spam) helps keep my hair from going wirey and snapping off. Been going bald since 16 and nothing worked (never went pharmaceutical, tried plenty of herbs/beauty products and minoxidil did nada) and this is the first supplement to make a difference. I think my wife pays like 9 bucks a month, reddit for the details. It grows much slower than the rest of my hair, so i'll have to get a bad ass stylist to create some sort of illusion after the plague. Comb over, here I come! YOU'RE WELCOME /mic drop

So you're disowning your old hairs? The ones that took up residence in your nose, ears and down your back?

Cold bastard.

My older kid was using biotin shampoo because her hair was so fine, and taking supplements. Seemed happy with the results?
My multivitamin has some in it, but I'm also on finasteride, I think combined with the rest of my meds my hairline has been moving in the right direction. Not really helpful to others unless they're on board with nuking their testosterone levels, of course :p

I've been curious to try biotin if anything, as a preventive measure, but I don't know how well it truly works. I think when it comes to hair genetics is like 90% of the equation.

This. Most men don't lose their hair, it just migrates. Most of mine ended in the places you mentioned, thou I can still grow a rather mangey looking beard. I also have eyebrows that look like a slender hedgehog, don't know what the hell happened there.

Speaking of hair, I found a white hair in my beard the other day, in fact, two of them. I've seen them before, but they seem to start growing back red after a while. These ones are clearly really white. I'll eventually have to change my name to albino squirrel.

Well as far as a stylist goes, maybe Trump's will be looking for a new job in a couple of days?

I found my first white hairs on my hear at 17. By the time I was 30, I had a pronounced white "skunk stripe," so much so that some of the mexicans I worked with called me "El Zorillo." :p My wife said my skunk stripe matched my attitude. Nowadays...the stripe is all gone...just white/gray hair everywhere.

As for the OP, Did you ever look at all the hairs in your hairbrush and wonder..."WTF held you in yesterday?"
