Damn. Car thieves are pieces of sh!t. :| I live in a relatively safe neighborhood where the number one crime in the city is bike theft and that's why its so shocking. Now we're just waiting for the police to come. It was a 1998 Acura Integra btw.

UPDATE: Well they found the car last night in Sacramento. The police found the car still running. The entire car was stripped except the engine. Chairs, wheels, stereo, etc etc. were all taken :| Talk about the worst of luck. I hope to GOD the police find the thief and leave me in the room with him for a few minutes...

Sorry to hear that...hopefully it'll be recovered in good condition, and press full charges against the people if they are found.

Integras are the most stolen acura....Sorry to say, but you'd be lucky to have it returned in one piece. Most likely the sh!theads will strip everything on the car. Was this integra fitted with any aftermarket parts? And did it have an alarm (like alarms do anything but create noise)?

That explains it. That car for some reason just attracts ricer dickheads (or criminals as you prefer). Hell if I know why it's not like it's fast or luxurious or anything...Oh well, good luck and I hope your thieves get it in the butt.

What's with some people acting like an ass when something unfortunate happens to one of the members?

I'd suggest just trying to drive around town and look into the "alleys" or the bad parts of town and try and spot your car (if there are any such parts of town). Also make sure you document the VIN so if the motor tries to get sold and registered (if its missing when and if its recovered), that person who bought it/sold it will get busted.

Make sure you carry a .45 with you too...

Yeah...true. Something about Hondas and Acuras attracts car thieves.

Anyways...I appreciate the support guys.

Well, it was only a 5 year old Integra. Could have been a lot worse.

Years ago No. 2 GF had a 6 month old Mustang GT stolen from my house.

After No. 1 GF saw the Police Report in the paper the losses amounted to 1 GT and 2 GF's.

Integras are incredibly easy to steal. I was looking at my friend's Integra tonight.. I could probably take it with a screwdriver and leave no visible damage.
