Exactly what I was thinking. One of those weird ass alcoholic Kennedys did the "driving while sleep" thing a couple of years ago and got off because of the meds he was allegedely taking.

people do some weird shit while sleepwalking. my oldest daughter slept walked a lot when she was say 8-13 years old. there isnt much you can do about it but we were worried that she would wonder outside during one of her adventures. but it was kinda fun to mess with her. i would be sitting in the font room watching tv and she would come out of her room and start mumbling stuff. and i would mumble back and have a mumble conversation... god only knows what i said to her in mumble. heheheh we would just walk her back to her room and like any sleep walker she would have no memory of it at all.

hahahahahaha...that would be like the ultimate mindfuck! lol

Take everything valuable of yours out of the bedroom and get her to drink a gallon of water before bed.

A+++++ thread. Would read again.

Why doesn't she go see a doctor? Other things to do: have her go to the bathroom before going to bed, lock your stuff up in a drawer, and put all your stuff in waterproof bags in case they do get miturated upon.

Heck, if she pees on your rug, you could try and bum a rug off some rich dude with the same name as you.

Solution, get a blow up mattress and a room with a lock on the outside only and a bathroom in it.

Lock her ass in it after drinking :p

Or...

Novel idea here.

Maybe he shouldn't drink anymore?

Just a thought... I now if drinking caused me to piss all over the place in the middle of the night, I'd at least be considering giving it up.

So

Yes, we know. The chair, in a bag, it's going pretty much anywhere that's not the bathroom.

She doesn't have a problem, she's just doing it because you THINK she has a problem. It's actually been her way of saying 'it's over' for a while now, but once she found out she could get away with it she stuck with it just to pee all over your stuff.

I've experienced sleepwalking recently and can say it hasn't been fun. I never sleepwalked as a child so I don't know why I started. For some bizarre reason I would usually only sleepwalk when I slept in my Home Theater room, which is very dark. Apparently I would get up to go the bathroom while I was asleep and would struggle to find the door to the rest of the house and the bathroom. I think I always kept my eyes closed because I could never see anything. I would feel my way around the walls of the room like a blind person sometimes spending an incredible amount of time trying to get to the door. At times I would be somewhat aware of my situation but wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Most of the time I would get up in the morning without any memory of the experience. On at least two occasions I fell down the stairs into the Home Theater room after successfully finding the bathroom. Once I knocked down a lamp and once I woke up to discover that I had knocked down the audio video rack. All the wires had pulled out of the receiver and I was lucky it and the DVD player still worked. Afterwards I more or less did away with the rack so I couldn't do the same thing again. And once I thought I was standing outside taking a piss but I was standing in my bedroom. Once I thought I was trapped in a room at a house I was wiring and couldn't find my way out. After bumping into an exercise ball and falling onto another bed I realized I was in my Home Theater room and actually woke up. It is a bizarre condition that may be in [art caused by drinking alcohol (possibly sometimes too much) and also it would seem that the need to relieve oneself has something to do with it as well. Doctors prescribe some kind of sedatives for the condition but I'm leery of taking any of them. My solution has been to sleep in my bedroom instead and I know I don't sleepwalk nearly as much although I still do occasionally. The bathroom is right off my bedroom so it's more familiar and I don't have to struggle to find it. Sometimes I'll take a combination of melatonin, passion flower and valerian root as sort of a natural sleep cocktail before I go to sleep and it seems that it may help. Although it can be amusing it also can be dangerous for the person who suffers from this condition. It's also very frustrating when you are aware that you're doing it but can't seem to do anything about it. I'm definitely never staying in a hotel room that has a balcony you can go out on. I hope the OP can get help for his girlfriend.

Not quite sure why, but it cracks me up that you used capital letters . . .

Though to be proper, you should have capitalized the 'r' in "room" as well.
