you know...i actually believe my IQ went down like 50 points. throughout the movie my mind was a complete blank, i couldn't believe i was watching this. don't get me wrong, i dont' mind watching a good romantic comedy...but this movies just bites the cake!

i believe that i'm a very understanding bf and all that but this is just pushing it a bit. when we left she asked me what did i think, i didn't respond for a good 10 minutes, not because i did or didnt' like that movie but more because it wiped out all the common sense that i have.

1) "Bites the cake" is not a valid term.

2) Cliff notes are not required for a 4 line post.

3) If you're going to rant about how bad a movie is, at least say why. "It was bad because it sucked" doesn't cut it.
 
You had to stare at Reese Witherspoon for 90 min. After that your gf thinks your a great guy and is "in the mood."

I will probably end up having to see that movie as well. I'll just look at Reese's body the whole time and giggle when the movie is supposed to be funny.

For your sake I hope that Jzero was right and you at least managed to get some out of that whole arrangment,

My condolences to you, I know where you're coming from. My gf wanted me to go see it also. Luckily I dodged that bullet when she went with a bunch of her friends!
Oh and post nazi, anybody who's seen a commercial for it could tell how utterly mindless that movie was going to be. I doubt anybody on Anandtech was part of the target audience for it.
