Gembird JPD-DUALFORCE.

Worked in prince of persia sands of times and that's pretty much it.
Tried just cause 2, game has button mapping panel for gamepads, but it wasn't recognizing any of my controller's input - i just kept pressing buttons and nothing was happening.
Then I tried crimson skies (old 2001~2002 flight sim).
Could map up, down and roll left/right with the right analog stick, and could assign other functions on the l1, l2, r1, r2 buttons, but it didn't let me map the left analog stick, d pad and the for action buttons.
When I set the up/down/roll movement on the l1/2 and r1/2 to see what happens, all the other buttons and sticks got blocked.
I'm using the latest drivers on gembird's site. Windoes7 64 (no sp) recognizes the drivers and says "the device is working properly", but I can't see the gamepad in the device manager.
Is there something I can do to fix this?
edit: I checked and it's the exact same thing as above with system shock2(only L-analog stick and l1/2, r1/2 are working) . Could it be because these last two games are old?
