My G5's right click doesn't work

My G5's right click doesn't work 🙁 Is there anyawy I can fix this or will I have to replace it?

What isn't working? Does it not "click" (audibly), or does it have no response? have you tried rebooting, or checking out the software to make sure it was programmed to another key?

The right click button has no response, and yes I've tried rebooting.

Okay. Try uninstalling the logitech software, reboot, and see if it still has no funcionality. Also, removing the hardware and forcing it to reinstall the drivers might be worth a shot as well. If it is actually "clicking", then I would guess it is a software issue, and not hardware.

Hmm... I just did what you told me to do and it still doesn't work.

Yes, my right button still clicks.

do macs support right click?

The question is about a poorly named Logitech mouse, not an Apple G5. But yes, Mac OS has supported the right click for a while.

Did you buy it and it didn't work right off the bat? Or did it just stop working now? Sounds broken to me.

I bought it about five months ago. It's been working fine until yesterday while I was playing a game.

Hi, Go into Control Panel, Mouse and change it to a LEFT HANDED mouse. If the problem stays with the right hand button then the switch in the mouse is probably bad. Good Luck, Jim

Mac OS has supported right-click since Mac OS 8.

Try holding down the control key while doing a regular old fashioned left-click, just to see if the contextual menus work at all. Maybe something is b0rked with your OS install.
