This morning I was dreaming. I dreamt that I was outside, a nice sunny day talking with some friends. And then I found it odd (in my dream) that my friends were now speaking in Spanish. Even though Spanish is not my native or studied tongue, I could understand some of it, but it was definitely Spanish. Even more bizarre was that I was replying in Spanish too. It was so odd that I had to wake up.
Now the background.
I was in the woodshop last night (working on a cradle for some expectant friends of mine) and quit late. I ate a very late dinner (11:30 PM) while watching the Charlie Rose show on PBS. I ended up falling asleep on my big, overstuffed couch (not that hard to do) with the TV on. I'm guessing that the time I was heavily into REM sleep was when Seasame Street came on. Seasame Street now has the show in Englsh and Spanish during the entire show. When I woke from my dream, the Count was having a picnic and was counting things, you guessed it, in Spanish.
At least I thought it was funny...
