this is the story of my night, i'm 18 btw...

so we go to a girl i knows house and start drinking.... get there at 10, have 8 beers down at 12, than the lovely and awesome local police department sends out a few of their workers to check on us... so they come and bust this party... everyone there has to blow... i blew .087, the officer comments "hey, you're over the legal limit to drive as an adult" to which I reply "yeah, thats great"... so the officer lets everyone over 18 off and me and two of my friends go with another friend cause he blew .000... so we go get mcdonalds, go out to see a new friend at this party at this girls house house... so we go see this new friend, and follow him to this other party right by another friend's house... so we get in there and walk around... see people say whats up, etc... we didn't know anyone there... next thing we know, not 5 minutes after we've been there, someone freaks out saying the cops are htere... yep, sure enough, the cops are there... so we are chillin, and the cops come in... ironically, the same ones that just busted us... so they pull me and my three outside first and are dickheads about how stupid we are cuase we just got caught... so the driver blows again, .000 again, and they say "get out here, next time there will be citations." so my friend drops me off, and now i'm home... getting busted by the police TWICE in one night..

what a night.
 
I'd flame you...but as a fellow Iowan I will sympathize because besides drinking there really isn't much else to around the place on a Saturday night.

Just remember the boys in blue were just doing their job. You got to cash in on two of these tonight. Don't push your luck.
 
Getting busted once is stupid...getting busted twice is much worse...getting busted in Iowa City (I assume from your sig line about the Hawkeyes) is WAY worse. Who get's busted in Iowa City?
 
I wasn't in Iowa City, I would've been fine in Iowa City if we got caught, the cops up there don't really care...

I'm in Burlington, a town of 27,000 about a hour south of Iowa City...

And MrCode, I wasn't driving... The cops were just nice, and let everyone but hte owner of the house off....
 
i dont care whether you are 21+ or 15... as long as you don't put others in danger (ie. driving), it's all cool 🙂
