Hi,
I have ASUS Rampage Formula mobo that comes with the SupremeFX II audio card. My case is Cooler Master CM 690.
My headphones and microphone don't work when I plugged them in the Input/Output Function front panel of the Cooler Master. They work fine when plugged in the external jacks of the audio card at the back of my computer.
The SupremeFX II audio card has an internal HD connector where I connected the HD connector cable of the Input/Output Function panel. My audio card is using the latest driver provided from ASUS and I went through the manual many times making sure that I've set up correctly the audio software and devices.
I sent detailed description of the problem to both ASUS and Cooler Master and they both said that they can replace their parts - the audio card and the I/O panel of the case. But it is most likely than one of them is the culprit and I wonder how to find out.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
