My friends like to steal...

So basically my one friend (a model Christian) has gone down the spiral of apathy and stress from school work and stress from job. My other friend hates school worse than me and doesn't know how to handle it so they both, good friends, steal things and their catharsis is through shoplifting and reaping the benefits. The latter "friend" I don't really care too much for but the former is a really good friend I've known for about five years. He has just given it all up and resorts to drugs, alcohol, and stealing. I don't know what the hell to do for him. Should I stay out of it or what?

Help do what you can but make sure you don't get involved. I have a lot of friends that have gone down the wrong path but they still respect the things I do (ie. going to college). Just be a good friend to him and make sure you stay out of trouble.

You could try to police. Or a rehabilitation clinic. OR A MENTAL/MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL!!

How much you can help them depends on how strong of a person you are. IF you know you cant help them by yourself (and help them you should) then seek help such as parents or other friends who dont want to see these guys get killed due to a few bad choices.

Just get new friends. My friends and I have all tried numerous times to try to get our friends who are hooked on drugs off of it. It's a lose lose situation.

Talk to them/him about it ONCE. if nothing comes of that, find new friends. we all make our own decisions in life...

Yeah. Worrying about other people isn't always the healthiest thing to do.
