My friend's mom came back from the middle east and brought him 11lbs of hookah/sheesha tobacco, since it's much cheaper there than over here.

I am not sure exactly how many grams goes into a head, but I think that's enough for ~30 days of non-stop, around-the-clock smoking. :laugh:

Round the clock smoking sounds about par for most people that smoke cigarrettes, which I believe are worse then tobacco that you would pack in a hookah. I think he'll manage.

I got thrown out of a smoke shop like a week ago. I was with a friend and I was just kind of wandering around, and looking at the glass display case full of pipes. Like, the patterned, fired ceramic pipes everyone smokes pot out of. I asked the clerk what you're ostensibly supposed to smoke out of those, and he goes "Tobacco. Sorry, I can't sell to you. You've suggested you'll smoke something else out of them. I need to ask you to leave" He was quite serious, too. Well excuuuuuse me.

Almost every smoke shop will do that to you. They usually have signs posted about the store. It's all for legal reasons...

All the head shops I've been to are like that. Of course if you go in there looking like stoner most of the time the guy will be cool and subtly infer that their used for pot. A big no no is to call a bong a bong, a friend of mine got thrown out of one for not calling it a water pipe.

It depends on ammount smked/ frequency smked etc, but still- saying tha tis is "FAR better" than cig smk is not true.

Not really. Canada customs allows you to import 200 grammes for personal use so you have to pay tax on the rest. Of course, if you don't tell them you're bringing 11lbs, the chances of them randomly searching your luggage are really small.

Agreed. Hookah tobacco being "better" for you than cigarette tobacco is a common myth that is completely wrong. Coupled with what is listed above, consider that many people sit at the hookah for an hour at a time, whereas a regular cigarette is usually only 15 minutes of exposure.
