So I have this friend, highly cynical, critical, and negative. He normally points his negativity at the rest of the world and I just ingore it.
I used his PC to check a couple posts in the vid forum about two months ago, turns out he checked my browsing history and visited Anandtech. He's been lurking for two months now watching my posts (he guessed my handle was the same my email handle). He casually mentions yesterday that he "saw" the recent post on my new build. I asked him how he found AT and he told me from when I used his PC.
The pisser is, over the past two months he's been casually asking me "so what kind of upgrades have you done lately?" "Do you still have the same graphics card?" Because he's so critical, I say none, same stuff. In the past when I've shared details with him, he says things like "so do you notice any difference with that new card?" "Seems like a waste of money."
He's been watching my posts, seeing that I was upgrading, then casually asks me if I've done any upgrading. It's like he's trying to catch me in a lie. He does the same thing to his girlfriend. He's a bit of a control freak.
I don't answer to anyone on what I spend my money on, and I certainly don't want to be criticized someone insignificant. It's a public forum, but with him watching what I'm doing then asking me questions to see what I'll say, I'm kinda pissed!
What should I do?
