My friend wants me to join the coast guard reserves

He is a full time member of the coast guard and wants me to join the coast guard reserves. Apparently I can go right in as an Officer.

At this point we should just get him to make the wrong decisions. Eventually he'll learn and stop asking or the problem will eventually sort itself out (like how nice it will be for us when he's too busy training to post).

So I joined the coast guard and we were on a rescue mission. A couple on a boat had lost their way and got stuck in a bad storm. We went in a helicopter (it was so cool!) and when it came time for me to jump out to get the couple into the basket, I didnt know what to do... I tried to post a poll on ATOT but I couldnt get WAP service on my phone out there.

What should I have done? Jump and help or stay safe on the helicopter"
