I have a friend with a problem, try to help him out.

Yeah so his CP isn't freakish like wheelchair stricken, he can walk around and talk, run and stuff and have fun. He's a good friend. He's always had a problem of not being able to get it up. I mean I feel bad for the kid (he's 19) and you know, it's hard for him to find a girl and all so all he has is himself, lol.

Steps my friends have tried for him.
-Herbal Viagra = didn't work
-Deja Vu strip club 3 lapdances -nothin'
-Canada - still didn't work!

heh... him and a couple friends went to Canada for his 19th birthday and apparently he got fed up and called up a 'service' with his friends. The girl sopposedly gave him ....pleasures for a hour or so. Still nothing.

Is there something that doctors can do for him or anything he can take to cure this?

I don't want flames but i'm expecting them. I'm being serious. Just trying to help a friend out with a problem

i think you should probably have him see a doctor about this... they would be more help than any of us would be. even if someone here was qualified to make a diagnosis, in person is always better.

And a bunch of computer geeks would know what a doctor would give a guy with C.P. to give him an erection? All you're going to hear from us anyway is "take him to a doctor", which is something he should have thought of himself if he really wants it bad enough.

dang, thats gotta suck

Has he ever asked the doctor about this even though it is an embarassing question? Is he on anti-depressants as these can affect this I believe.

Well I know he takes lots of pills so i'm not sure, i'll ask him. He just doesn't want his mom all upset (he's dependant kinda on her) and it would be silly for him to go to a doctor with her (for insurance reasons)

Hmm, well there is stuff you can inject or creams available at a sexshop. He should see a doctor or sex therapist.

well... does he desire it?(meaning if his hormones are jumping up and down)
if he doesnt, its a chemical problem, no lap dancing in the world is gonna do the trick.
if he does, then its a mechnical problem
of course dont take our adivses serioulsy, sugget you tell him to seek a real doctor.

Well only a doctor can help him. There are harsher alternatives if Viagra doesn;t work, like getting an implant you pump up like a balloon.

This may sound strange, but does he get "morning wood"? Does he get erections at random times like most men do? I'm not at all qualified to make a diagnosis, but that would be something to consider.

I'm also going to tell you to have him see a doctor. Is he in college, or does he plan on going? The reason I ask is that he will be away from home (most likely) and would be able to consult a doctor at the campus medical center. There wouldn't be the risk of his mom finding out. Also, since he is 19, he has the right to doctor-patient confidentiality. Therefore, if he can get his mom to leave the room, he can talk to his doctor in private. Unless he has to get medication for the problem, she would never have to know.
