ever since he go his new comp he has had several problems. first I will list his specs.
AMD 1.4 thunderbird
Asus A7v266
512MB DDR
Ati radeon 7500
soundblaster Live 5.1
80GB 7200rpm Maxtor
16x dvd-rom - matshita
8x4x32 Plextor burner
300W generic psu

His problem is no matter what OS he uses is awhile after installing the os he has probs booting. It will go into windows but only show the start menu button, show desktop button and crap like that. When he was using 2k/xp windows would boot and it would reset on him or say his monitor is out of sync. win98 always crashes. I am at a loss and I cant be there every time he has a prob. It has been like this for along time now but he seems to think the best place to get tech support is easywarez.. LOL

He has a Aopen 300W power supply. he also has 3 fans connected to his mobo, with only 2 fan ports. He has the fan that come with a ThermalRight SK6 and 2 case fans. He wired it so the two case fans are plugged into 1 fan plug on his mobo, I told him it was a bad idea but he didnt listen, well I think it is a bad idea. BTW he has the problem before he had the fans plugged into his mobo

nm..prob not solved
it wasnt the ddr cuz everytime he tries to enter a game, or puts ne stress on his vid card, it crashes, its gotta be the vid card..its a radeon 7500 and he has tried all drivers...originals, and updated 1's, even tweaked 1's by omega...also used overclocker and other proggies to mess with the settings, still happens?? ne ideas, or is it a simple case or return and get a new 1?

has he tried flashing the latest BIOS? He might wanna try a heftier PSU as well. 300W is borderline for a DDR mobo.

did he install the latest 4in1 drivers from via. check the ati readme file in the ati installation as well, there could be a conflict with the SB and a process for the fix. I have a feeling that the SB is grabbing the same IRQ of the video card.
