One time I was at the Central Multnomah County Library in downtown Portland, Oregon and was waiting forever for this guy to sign off a terminal because I was going to look up movie times. To make matters worse he was checking his Hotmail account when all the signs clearly said do not check your webmail from these public internet terminals (whey they can't just block the Hotmail domain is beyond me). So he finally signs off and leaves. I clicked back a few times and got into his inbox, LOL. So I sent him a message from his Hotmail account to himself telling him about the virtues of following the rules, blah blah blah it was a nice long 3 page e-mail. I wonder just how much that pissed him off?

Just have her log in somewhere else - it'll disconnect the original session.

Or it used to anyway.

-edit- Realized this isn't going to work, as I'm guessing you have no other contact with her, and don't have her password. Oh well :)

Rendus, yeah. :p

Well, fortunately, someone just signed her off...I dunno who or anything, but I just saw her name go bye-bye from my online buddies. :p

I'm gonna make fun of her SO bad when she gets back in a few days! :D

She can't be charged, it's AOL instant messenger. I've left mine on for a day or so and no charges. Don't worry about it, soon enough the program will just freeze and automatically sign off if someone doesn't sign it off first.

I think he's talking about the Internet Cafe charging her credit card for continued use. They could, but it's unlikely.

charged for AIM? when did this happen? besides I wouldn't worry about it. Last time I left my AIM on here at Home and when I went to work I opened up AIM and it simply disconnects the other one. So I wouldn't really worry about a thing.

danny~!

Ah, my fault. Yea, doubt they would anyway. They probably have a set monthly fee anyhow.

josh, do you know what an internet cafe is?

It's a store that has about 30 or more (depending on how big of on it is) computers in it that you can pay to use. It is rather expensive. =\
