That's so awful. It destroys me when I see people suffering while trying to do a good deed.

My condolences and best wishes for peace to all involved. 8*(

This is weird. Maybe I'm making too much of this. I have a tendency to pinpoint coincidence in the most unusual places and try to make something of it when there's really nothing there.

I was reading last night for some stupid reason about the length of one solar year. According to Google calculator, it's 365.24219878 days. The guy who killed Richard Smith (acemcmac) had a BAC of 0.242. My friend Ace went one year of his life without a traffic ticket before dying. (His last ticket was "vehicle in unsafe condition" on October 30, 2005)

this is messed up and quickly digressing.... ugh. This damn scientific brain of mine tries to make sense out of everything and it just drives me nuts trying to shut it up.

I'm 23, but the difference might as well be a roundoff error. It really hits home. It leaves me wondering why I was spared given all the times I've been on the side of the road in the middle of the night changing tires and helping people and whatnot.

This is true ... that was purely speculation. I hate having to change tires on the side of the road, and am always really careful.

Sorry for the loss.

you're alright. He was definitely a jester at all times. He was never a man of great ideas, but he was definitely a great friend and a good help to whoever he saw.

Sad to hear... :(

It's interesting to see the myspace comments switch from the trivial to the heartbroken. People only seem to say what they really mean when it's too late for the message to matter.

I tried to search for add'l info and never could find any alcohol link. The FHP have said heavy rains and a dark section of highway are the cause.
