My friend broke his legs and stole my iPod.

My friend got in an accident last weekend, broke both his legs and ended up in the hospital for a week. I lent him my iPod so he could have something to listen to in the hospital. Now he's been released but his parents came and got him and took him back to thier place 2 hours away. He still has my iPod. I hope he didn't leave it at the hospital.

Before you jump on me, yes I'm a lot more concerned for my friend than my iPod. He's got a plate in one leg and a metal rod in the other. He really fvcked himself up pretty bad, but he's on the way to recovery now. I jsut want to make sure that my iPod doesn't belong to some hospital staff member now.

Why would he leave the ipod at the hospital? It's not like he stored it away in some secret drawer that wouldn't be checked before he left.
 
why are you worried he would have left it at the hospital? I don't know too many people who would do that to a friend's $300 device...

Oh fvck you, like you know. I was there visiting him till midnight in the hospital almost every night last week. I brought him the damn ipod in the first place. I took an afternoon off from work and borrowed a truck to spend four hours driving to pick up his wrecked motorcycle for him, and I offered to fix it for him if he decided he wants to keep it.

Simple solution... go visit friend... say "hey dude, do you have my iPod? I got some new music that I want to put on it."

I think out of kindness to notfred and his now handicapped friend, you should buy notfred another iPod so he doesn't have to be rude and ask his friend for his back.

I doubt you even know the circumstances in which he is in, or what he has done for said friend. Do I? No, but I'm sure notfred does a damn fine job at being a friend, and you should not jump to conclusions regarding what he has or has not done. He wants to know the state of his ipod now that his friend is out of the hospital, that is all. I hope your SA node stops firing.
