My freezer has no light

Mount a pair of 100 curie betailluminators in there. Be sure to get the lexan encased ones as the freezer tends to be a "harsh environment" as people get impatient trying to find a four month old box of hot pockets and throw steaks around which are about as hard as calcite when deep frozen to 0F.

my parents freezer has a light and so do my friends freezers...my stand alone freezer has a light just not my refrigerator/freezer

My fridges doesn't have a light either. I could make an LED with a battery pack. Anyone know how well alkalines do at 25-30*? Otherwise, I'll just run wires to an oddly oversized decorative magnet.
