My freaking mac is ruined.

Yes, I thought it was interesting when I used a Mac with a normal mouse and you could right click... wtf apple get it straight, it's either there or isn't don't do no stinking alt + click for such a simple concept.

Wow, I've never heard that one before. I honestly think you are the first person to make that joke. One thing I really don't get about the macbooks is that you can't tap the touchpad for a click. However, I am jealous of the two finger scrolling, much more intuitive than the edge of the touchpad like on my S10.

When they added contextual menus (in 1997) most Mac users were still using one-button mice, so they did the button+click thing. Even after that, Apple still kept making one-button mice while supporting multi-button mice. That's just Apple being Apple. It's not like Mac users have to use Apple mice, just like I don't use a Compaq mouse with my Compaq or a Microsoft mouse with the PC I built. 😉 Apple mice are overpriced anyway, and the little nipple scroll ball tickles your finger.

Don't know which Macbook you're talking about or if this is a recent feature addition, but Control Panel->Trackpad->One Finger->Tap to Click. Check the box. BAM!

Sharing is caring. Admittedly, the only Macbooks I used have not been mine to tinker with the settings on, so I should have figured it was just an option. Especially considering it was an option the same S10 I mentioned, disabled by default. Please note I am not a Mac hater, or at least quite a reformed one after actually using one for a bit. (Gotta wonder how many Apple haters have never used one or have only messed around on one, less than an hour or so...

I love how people in education go through hell to get their MBA and PhD to show how smart they are, then use Macs exclusively because "they're easy to use." WTF? They should be using command line Unix systems or something!

Posers.

That's irony right there.
