"My Forums" -- duplicate threads

Why is it that when there are a few new posts under one thread in your "My Forums" section, it lists the same thread multiple times? It seems very cluttersome. Maybe I'm missing something, but shouldn't it just list it once regardless of how many updates it has?
 
Would love to have that fixed, and more features in general added in that direction. That list of posts is one of the big things I use to help me find stuff that I want to look at.
