My fish's life is in your hands.

My fish, Thurgood, is very ill. He has been kinda floating on his side, gasping for air for 3 days. When he does swim, he flips around violently.

What would you do?

Stick him in a plastic ziploc bag, in water, in the Freezer.

I went to a frat party one time where they had a kiddie pool full of goldfish, and drunk people were eating them. I didn't...that's just nasty. 😛

the last time there was a sick fish, it was a betta? and someone(s) decided it was constipated and to not feed it for a few days? and then give it..... something. a vegetable I think. ::think think think::..

squooshed peas!!

right?

so.. you could try that..

if its a betta, it is probably constipated. Mines has a swim bladder disorder...so if it eats too much the area under his gills swell up and they start floating. Mines went hay wire one time, when it kep floating up on one side and frantically swam down and floated up again and swam down again..and so on and on. He was fine after a day or so. I think you are suppose to feed it some vegetable or something to clear its pipe. I remember, It hink you are suppose to feed it peeled peas or something. Good luck with thurgood.

Mines is called Fishie. 🙂

Freezing is painless for fish, and garbage disposal?

I wouldn't want to be put through a wodd chipper while still alive, some people have weird ideas, for example:

One of the 8th grade science projects was to see the effects of cetrifugal force on feeder mice. Lets just say one of the "test subjects" (feeder mouse) in its "cockpit" (freezer bag with holes for air) was eject from the "centrifuge" (3 speed ceiling fan) the sound of that mouse hitting the wall will be with me forever.
