I still didn't order it... because I'm wondering if I should get the Volcano 7+ or the ZALMAN CNPS3100-Plus for a CPU fan? Or is there anything else you guys would recommend?

EDIT: Or would a whisperrock or a falconrock work for me? I'm maybe going to OC later to something like 200 fsb, like what nick said on the first page of this thread.

this heatsink is very cheap and very good. i have used it on several occasions to OC. it is a little louder than most other heatsinks, but its not that bad. i highly recommend it.

I would go with whisperrock or falconrock as both are cheap and relatively quiet. I'm currently using falconrock on my overclocked XP 1800+ and I've no complaint.

That's what i told him either this one or a spreeze "rock" varient. All the others you metion flyingsock your paying for ads, hype and reviewers salaries.

So that loud one and the "Rock" varient are equivelent? They cool the same amount?

PS. I don't know why, maybe it's just my computer, but it seems like Newegg is down... It gives the "The page cannot be displayed" messsage... (Maybe if I restart my computer?...)

You may want to go over to the Hot Deals forum and see if you can find a deal on a hard drive. Last week Fry's had a 160 GB for $80 after rebate (or was it a 120 for $60).
Anyway, $.50/GB or less is the going price for a good HD deal.

I have an MX440 and I have no trouble playing 'modern' games. Maybe not with AA/AF and not at 1024*768....but...it works fine....*sob*.....

....but my 5900XT is in the mail! Woohoo!

Man that would stink if I cracked the CPU......

As for the voltage and all that stuff you said do I change it in the BIOS too?
