I posted my specs yesterday because I was thinking of overclocking. Well after a few replys I decided to give it a shot. First I went into the bios and adjust the FSB from 133 to 145. This took my CPU from a P4 2.53 to roughly a 2.7. I then kept increasing it by 2 till I got to 150 with a clock speed of 2.85ghz.

Then it was time to try my ATI 9800 Pro. I downloaded first Rage 3D Tweak, then the ATI Tool. I've been reading that with the stock cooling people have got this card up to 420/core and 380/Memory I played around with this for a few hours. Right now I have my core set at 398 and the memory at 346. I can't adjust it any higher or i'll get artifact in the test that ATI Tool provides.

So thats where i'm at right now. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I'm very new to this and would like to gain as much knowledge as I can. Thanks.

Try to clock your memory higher. If that doesn't work, try to improve the latencies.

What settings do you suggest in the latenceies. I saw the warning about it crashing or damaging the card and I didn't dare touch anything.

I was able to increase the memory to 351 but couldn't increase the core at all.

Well I think I found my first problem. I tried to convert a video today using WinAVI and the program kept shutting down on me. I went into the BIOS and turned the FSB back to 133 and it worked fine. Strange since it worked fine at 150 with all my games. Any ideas?

Yeah, after you OC your CXPU you want to stress test it to make sure it is stable. Prime95 is one of the best. You should run it for at least 8 hours straight to be sure. To test memory, you want to try out memtest (86). Both of these programs will run and tell you if the hardware is giving any errors at those speeds.
