I got 4 free Tai Chi classes from a friend who wasn't interested in using the coupon.

What can I expect from my first Tai Chi class?

i don't know but i'd be interested in hearing about once you do go.
i'd like to do something like that but i don't know that i could afford it, plus there isn't anywhere close by.

The first class they teach you how to rip out a guys heart and show it to him while it's still beating. After that it all goes downhill.

I took Tai Chi in college. We started off learning proper breathing techniques - in through the nose, out through the mouth (or maybe the other way around). Then we had to learn the proper way to stand to do the forms; how to balance our weight, etc. I still remember how the form starts 8 years later. It's very relaxing and reinvigorating exercise.

Yep, and it helps with balance too.

Wait until everybody is relaxed and quiet, then cut the cheese, and look at the person next to you like they did it.

They call this move "flowing of the wind".
