My first Raid question. =)

Would a Iwill kk266-R and (2) 30GB Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 60 ATA 100 7,200rpm HDs make a desent Raid setup?

Oh and what the heck is Raid good for?

lol, i supose you posted in as good a place as any, realy more of a question of the harddrives than the motherboard but ya you'll be fine. get ibm drives if its about the same cash for ya though, they are the fastest.

Well I've already gotten one of the Maxtors for $100. At first I wasn't going to do a raid setup but changed my mind. If things go as planned I'll have the other HD and the mobo for another $210

Why use RAID?
