Finally got around to picking up bluetooth adaptor for my desktop. Im using a Tungsten T3 connected via bluetooth to a linksys usb device, with ICS enabled on my 802.11b wireless lan. Took a good 15 mins to set up, but all in all i am very impressed with the speed.

go you , t3 is awsome, 2 bad ppl wiped it out before i got i 🙁 , oh well i guess it saved me some money 😀

actually i've been quite impressed with this thing. shows almost all images at close to the speed i see it on my desktop. Supports cookies & everything.
 
The web browser on the T3 is VERY nice.

I used my Cingular T616 as a wireless modem and got online in a pinch with my T3. Very handy.
 
What kind of bluetooth-to-usb adapter did you get? I was thinking about getting the $29 after rebate D-Link adapter but then found out its not Class 1 (Class 1 has 330 ft range vs. 30 ft range of most adapters.) Now I'm thinking about getting the IOGear Class 1 bluetooth adapter.

Does Class 1 range require all devices in the PAN to be Class 1 or will I still get the 330 ft range between Class 1 and Class 2 devices??? I'm a bluetooth n00b. 🙁

BTW, I have an iPaq 1945 w/bluetooth and I'm thinking about getting the Sony Ericsson T608 or T616 phones.

UNC, I got the Belkin Class 1 USB Adapter - Model USBBT100

The sweet thing is, when i registered my PDA at the Palm Bucks store it gave me enough points to cash in for a $25 Amazon GC, so i used that towards the bluetooth adaptor and it came to $22 shipped for a $48 adaptor. It really is top notch.

BTW, i fergot to swap the screen sideways in landscape mode. Looks better for webpages, but my digicam was dying to i just took the pics as quick as possible 🙂

Very cool! But I can imagine that some websites get messed up while being crammed in there. Do they have flash for PDAs now?
 
How fast is the text input, currently I use a Ipaq for mobile browsing, and I occasionally find myself wanting for a good old keyboard.

Right now I have both the T3 and the 4150 and my roommate has the Tungsten C. I have to say the the 4150 ownes both the palms. I have switched back and forth between PPC and Palm for my PDA every other time but the 4150 is nice. I don't know if I would have made the switch though if the T3 had wifi. There are so many nice PDA's right now its crazy.

lol, are you addressing to all the camera phone too? oh yea, it is the camera is POS, but I can record about 2hr of lecture, good enough for my use.
