I ordered my first NF board (Abit AN7) a few days ago and was wondering if there is a certain order to installing the drivers after a fresh install of XP?

If there is any other info I should be aware of, let me know.

Thanks

Well I dont have the bored yet so I havnt changed my sig yet.

I was also wondering about my memory. Right now I have a stick of Corsair XMS 512 PC2700 (CMX512-2700C2) and a stick of Kingmax 256mb pc2700.

Iv been thinking about going to a gig of ram, since I dont care about dual channel would I have any timing problem if I just get the same stick of xms as I have now or should I go with say there LL version just in case? Suggestions on that?

Install XP pro w/SP1
Install nVidia UDP forceware drivers
Install Cat's
dealer's choice after that ;)

Another 512mb stick of the XMS you're using will be fine, and you are right to not be overly concerned with dual channel since the gains in most tasks are minor. BTW, is that 2400+ unlocked? If so you can adjust things as needed to make certain you run the ram and FSB at the same speed as the nF2 takes a significant performance hit from increased latency in asynch mode.

Sounds like a very good plan, post up some results when you get them
