Since you said you don't know anything, which I can appreciate, to share drives (WIN 98)go to open My Computer and right click the drive you want to share, click 'shared as' and check full or what you want.

To add file and print sharing to your network stack (So that what I was doing) go to My Computer, then Control Pannel, then Network. On the configuration tab click add, highlight services and click add, choose file and print sharing and follow instructions.

if you have a cheapie hub like i do (5 port linksys for $50) , you just use wingate to share the dsl between the two computers. takes some configuring (for me about a month) but i finally got all 4 computers to work off of my one cable modem :Q:D
