My first mosh pit today...

I went to the Reel Big Fish - Goldfinger concert today.. was mostly people just jumping and skanking.. altho at one point a mosh pot or 3 broke out.. was kinda fun seein people thrown onto their heads.. the concert rocked too btw

i dont understand the whole point of a mosh pit..if i go to a show i wanna see the band..not jump around like a bunch of idiots and get my head bashed in.... goddamn.

did rbf do their signature thank you for not moshing? i wanted to go to that concer so badly (crouching finger, hidden fish), but they don't come to seattle. damnit! oh well i got to see goldfinger, a, and bloodhound gang a while back. good concert. my first ever mosh pit was at a blink 182/bad religion/fenix tx concert and i came out of it with mysterious blood stains on my shirt.

i would think it depends on your musical tastes. obviously, kenny g fans would not want to mosh. but i find that punk makes people want to move their bodies to the music. jumping around is no less idiotic than ballroom dancing, just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's stupid.

NO they didnt play thank you for not moshing! i was kinda mad! they did pley take on me tho.. so that made up for it.. homegrown was decent.. zebrahead did good too.. we missed the first band tho.. was a great show.. im frickin deaf now tho.. i was like 10 feet from the stage the whole time

just decent? i love those guys... i love those three bands actually. lucky! my fav songs of homegrown are &quot;she said...&quot; and &quot;more than friends&quot;. gotta love the chorus in the latter, &quot;why can't we be more than just friends?&quot;

yeah.. i dunno. maybe i just wasnt feelin it cuz we had just got there and had to wait in a line! ick.. plus u couldnt hear the lead vocalist at all which sucked.. they gave out a phat sampler cd with all the bands on it too at the end

home grown is the best band of the 5 or 6 or something on the tour imo... ska sucks so yea

gopunk if those 2 songs are your fav you're really missing out then they've got 5 cds to choose from and their new stuff is a lot better than their old stuff (no ska!)
