So I went out to a neighborhood bar the other night. They do karaoke there, so I did a couple songs, had a couple drinks, generally a good time. Decided to leave around 1:00. As I'm walking to the door this obviously drunk girl grabs my arm and pulls me over to her:

Her: Can I go home with you? (slurring a bit)
Me: uhm ... wha ... err ... what was that??
Her: I want to go home with you.
Me: (looking around for the candid camera team/boyfriend/etc.)uhm ... no ... I don't think so
Her: (looking disapointed) Oh, Ok

Gotta be among the strangest things that ever happened to me  I don't even recall seeing her before - I certainly didn't talk to her. I didn't think about it at the time, but maybe I should've given her a ride to her home so some ass wouldn't cause her grief. I hope somebody was looking out for her - my brain kinda vapor-locked.

FWIW, she was kinda cute, probably mid 20s (I'm 36). No pics.
And yea, it's every guys wet dream right out of penthouse letters, but no regrets here - that situation was just to wierd for me. And yes, I was definitely sober at that time.

I'm sorry but you're going to need to turn in your testicles now.

EDIT: You were sober so I guess that was the right thing to do. Had you been drunk, it would be another story

Perhaps you should've taken her to her place, dropped her off and made sure she got in okay and then left? That would be the gentlemanly thing to do!

Yep - I thought about that after the fact. Even mentioned it in the first post.

Isn't this the reason people buy alcohol?

Actually, IMO...the right thing to do would have been to drop her off at her place, made sure she got home and then gone home himself...or at least make sure someone there was taking care of her.

Then you've never experienced the joy of the morning "Oh my god she didn't look that ugly last night" sneak-out, the "I don't know her name" awkward goodbye, or the "What the hell are these bumps" doctors visit?

if she did that to you, think of how many other times she may have approached a stranger and they took her up on the offer. no telling what could be crawling around down there.
